Relatives of the victims of the hijacked AK-9 train from Kaduna stormed the Federal Ministry of Transport on Monday and prevented staff from entering the ministry’s headquarters.
This came less than 24 hours after the terrorists released videos showing the 41 hijacked individuals, still in captivity, being whipped and threatened to be killed if their demands were not met.
A representative of the victims, Ahmed Aruwa, told the press that the terrorists are demanding the payment of N100 million for each of the victims to get them released.
