The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially announced a new allocation formula for the various offices of the National Working Committee (NWC) ahead of the party’s congress on March 26.
The formula, which was released in Abuja on Wednesday, stipulates that the party will allocate the office of National Chairman to the North Central region, thereby displacing candidates from other zones.
Some of the candidates affected by the formula are former Borno State (Northeast) Governor, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, and former Zamfara State (Northwest) Governor, Alhaji Abdulaziz Yar.
