The Kaduna State Government has expressed regret over the ongoing traffic jam on the Kaduna – Abuja road.
DAILY POST recalls that motorists and road users have suffered severe traffic congestion over the past two weeks, which has extended the two-hour journey from Kaduna to Abuja to almost four hours.
Samuel Aruwan, commissioner of the Kaduna State Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs, on Friday regretted the inconvenience caused to road users on the road.
He said the Kaduna State Government was in discussion with Julius Berger PLC and other relevant agencies to ensure that the obstructions were promptly removed and traffic resumed normalcy as soon as possible.
“The government reiterates its deep regret over the situation and expresses its understanding for the considerable pains endured by citizens and commuters in this protracted situation,” he said.
