Members of the Nigerian Union of Health Care Workers, branch of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control, suspended their indefinite strike on Tuesday.
The secretary of the union, Ayodeji Adetoboye, made this known in an interview .
Adetoboye said, “An agreement has been signed and a lot is expected to be done by the end of the year, otherwise the strike will resume.”
The health workers went on strike June 21, 2022, to protest inadequate benefits and unpaid salary arrears, among other issues.
